No words could describe the happiness written on the face of Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu as he watches the children of the Ati tribe play with each other in Brgy. Balabag in Boracay island. The DENR chief, who also chairs the Boracay Inter-agency Task Force, has repeatedly said that the rehabilitation of the world-famous paradise island is for the enjoyment of future generations. The government has particularly included the island’s Ati indigenous group, considered as native Aklanons, as beneficiaries to its livelihood and ecotourism programs. ###
